 OpenMP, MPI, Parallel performance: benchmarking, profiling and load balancing,

 Parallel algorithms – general design and examples, including, discussion of 3 example papers, Additional topics: parallel IO /random number generators. Alternative architectures -GPU’s, FPGAs, grids, clouds
